Bryan Runyan, CPA
Bryan is the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of K12 Accounting and lives with his family in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Bryan is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of New Mexico and obtained his Bachelor and Master of Accountancy degrees from New Mexico State University. Bryan is a licensed New Mexico School Business Official.
Prior to joining K12 Accounting, Bryan was a Senior Manager with ten years of experience performing external audits in compliance with Generally Accepted Governmental Accounting Standards, Uniform Grant Guidance, U.S. General Accounting Office government auditing standards, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Bryan has worked with a variety of governmental entities including school districts, colleges/universities, general and special purpose governments, counties, cities, tribal governments and special districts.
Bryan’s expertise includes governmental financial statement preparation, review and implementation of internal controls, grant management and compliance, and the implementation of new accounting standards.
Bryan currently serves as a Board Member of Casa Esperanza, a non-profit entity that provides appropriate housing and emotional support for patients and their families who reside temporarily in Albuquerque while the patient receives treatment.
