Prior to founding K12 Accounting in 2018, Rebekah held roles as the Director of New Mexico Operations and the Vice President of Finance for a regional software and business management firm. As a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of New Mexico, Rebekah brings a high level of professionalism and expertise to her work. She holds both a Bachelor and a Master of Accountancy degree from New Mexico State University. Bryan is the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of K12 Accounting. Before founding K12 Accounting, Bryan served as a Senior Manager at a local public accounting firm where he specialized in conducting external audits of governmental entities in compliance with Generally Accepted Governmental Accounting Standards, Uniform Grant Guidance, U.S. General Accounting Office Government Auditing Standards, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Bryan’s qualifications speak to his dedication to professional growth and expertise in the financial realm. As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of New Mexico, he has solidified his proficiency in the field. Amber was also the Controller of a multimillion-dollar healthcare business where she advanced her knowledge and love for financial reporting, budgets, forecast, contract compliance, contract negotiation and the development of process and procedures.

Katie has over fourteen years of experience working in governmental accounting. Prior to working with New Mexico Public Schools, Katie spent ten years working with the United States Air Force (USAF) in the Finance and Accounting Department while on active duty. During her tenure with the USAF, Katie provided mentorship and training support to incoming personnel and continues to serve in a mentorship role with K12 Accounting.
Katie’s expertise includes policy formation, payroll, in-depth payroll liability reconciliations, financial analysis, federal grant management and requests for reimbursements, project management and employee/client communication and training. Katie specializes in charter schools authorized by the Public Education Department, including financial performance framework and charter school renewal application budget analysis.

Jolene is the Director of Operations for K12 Accounting and takes residency with her family in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Jolene holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from New Mexico Highlands University and is a member of the New Mexico Association of School Business Officials. Jolene is a licensed New Mexico School Business Official and a licensed Chief Procurement Officer for the state of New Mexico.
Jolene has twenty-two years of experience working in the public-school system – fifteen of those years have involved oversight of school business offices. Jolene has managed school district business offices with budgets in excess of thirty-three million dollars, managed a software support team for school financial software, and has extensive experience running and managing operations for public school business office management companies.
Jolene’s expertise includes developing and implementing strong internal control and procedures for financial reporting and safeguarding of assets, knowledge and execution of reporting requirements for state, local, and federal entities, payroll, human resources, financial reporting, training, project and team management, maintaining the general ledger to provide accurate financial statement for analytical and reporting purposes, and software implementation and support.
